Saudi Arabia transfers $60 million to Palestinian govt account

CAIRO — Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), has remitted $60 million in the account of the Palestinian Ministry of Finance.

This sum of amount is toward the Kingdom’s financial contribution to support the Palestinian Authority’s budget for the months of August, September and October 2018 with $7.7 million per month, totaling $ 23.1 million, along with an additional contribution of $ 37 million as donation.

Saudi Ambassador to Egypt and the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League Osama Nugali stressed in a press statement that the Kingdom will continue to support the Palestinian cause at various political, economic and humanitarian levels.
