PWS holds free medical camp at Pakistan Consulate

The Pakistan Welfare Society (PWS) a welfare organization working under the banner of Consulate General of Pakistan, will hold its regular free medical camp No. 317 on Friday, Nov. 23, at Pakistan Consulate from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Mohammad Younus Abdul Sattar, camp in-charge, said that approximately 35,000 needy men, women and children have benefited from PWS’s free medical camps up till now.

During the free medical camp a team of specialist doctors will examine the patients and free medicines will be provided after diagnoses. Blood sugar and blood pressure (PB) testing will also be provided free of cost at the camp.

Meanwhile, Dr. Khalil-ur-Rehman, a kidney specialist, president PWS and founder Pakistan Kidney Center (PKC) constructed at Abbottabad Pakistan, appealed to the Pakistani community to donate unused medicines to the camp. “If you’ll have unused medicines (tablets and capsules), that can be used before the expiry date, please donate it to PWS camp,” he said.
