JEDDAH - Effat University will host an independently organized TED event under the theme “Aspire to Achieve”, welcoming both genders to its campus on Thursday, April 12.
TEDxEffatU is a platform for sharing innovative ideas, stories, and achievements. It is a gateway for Effat University’s family to share its achievements and aspiration with a wider audience. The talks will focus on technology in education, entertainment, media and art with success stories that can motivate everyone to do what they thought to be impossible.
A TED event has a number of speakers who provide motivating, aspiring or innovative talks in the span of 10 minutes. One of the many speakers will be Effat University’s own dean Dr. Haifaa Jamal Al-Lail.
Effat hopes to promote the culture of spreading ideas and leading positive change in education through this event carrying out Queen Effat Al-Thinayan’s vision in engaging Effat students in the community and hopefully promoting future leaders.
