King stresses keenness to bolster health sector

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on Monday stressed the state’s keenness to promote the health sector and enhance its role in providing preventive and curative medical services. The King also highlighted the importance of providing health services of the highest standard and ensuring the sector’s further growth and development.

The monarch made the remarks during an audience with senior officials of the Ministry of Health and those concerned with health services in government and private sectors at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.

Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority Dr. Mohammed Al-Qasem, Saudi Drug and Food Authority CEO Dr. Hisham Al-Jadai, and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center Executive Supervisor General Dr. Majed Al-Fayyad were among the officials who met the King. — SG/SPA
