Prince Salman Bin Sultan appointed Deputy Defense Minister

Upon recommendations of Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has relieved Prince Fahd Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud of his post as Deputy Minister of Defense, relieved Prince Salman Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of his post as Assistant Secretary General of the National Security Council for Security and Intelligence Affairs and appointed him as Deputy Minister of Defense in the rank of minister, a royal order said today.

MAKKAH  —  Upon recommendations of Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has relieved Prince Fahd Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud of his post as Deputy Minister of Defense, relieved Prince Salman Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of his post as Assistant Secretary General of the National Security Council for Security and Intelligence Affairs and appointed him as Deputy Minister of Defense in the rank of minister, a royal order said today.




The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques instructed the authorities concerned to carry out this royal order with immediate effect, a statement issued by the Royal Court added. – SG/SPA
