When our market is flooded with fake and outdated products and people are cheated openly to buy products that cannot be sold in the market in other countries, people then search for the Consumer Protection Society, but again there is no trace of it.



For many years people know that the society is busy fixing its internal problems. People are also searching for those who can protect the society from big internal disagreements on who will lead it. These disagreements diverted the attention of the society from the main task of protecting people to resolving the case of its presidency through courts and the Ministry of Commerce.



People are praying that the disagreements will be put behind so the society would focus on protecting the people against greedy businessmen.



The recently leaked news about the activities of the society explains why the society is absent from the scene. The society was studying in the past a mechanism that would improve its performance in protecting the people.



The society has agreed to establish an independent body that cares for consumers and unify the responsibility of overseeing the implementation of policies and regulations related to the activities of consumer protection.



People have the right to be confused and ask whether the society that failed to protect the people can actually come up with an independent body that can protect consumers.
