A large caravan of camels closed down the Turbah-Hail-Alhayaniya-Okaliya Road, which mainly serves people traveling to the Northern Border, for several hours. Drivers got confused as the caravan of camels blocked most of the road, causing a huge traffic jam. It is usual for camel owners to let their animals freely graze on the sides of the roads in the spring. In the absence of proper supervision, it is common for these beasts to stray on to the roads, blocking traffic for long hours. The motorists called on the Ministry of Transport to take tough action against camel owners who are responsible for these traffic jams and many accidents. — Courtesy photo
