MUMBAI — Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, who recently buried the hatchet at an iftaar party here, seem to have a common issue to tackle now. Or so it seems.

Sources claim that a Muslim cleric from Meerut has issued a fatwa against naming children after SRK and Salman!

The reason for the cleric’s anger is that both these superstars have reaped the rewards in Eid but have not given much in return to the community, hence the edict.

The cleric has reportedly asked the Muslim community to not name their children after the actors as they release their films during Eid and allegedly take advantage of the festive season to earn money, without making any contributions to the community. Salman Khan is known for releasing his films during the Eid weekends, whereas the SRK did the same this year, releasing his Chennai Express this year on Eid. — Agencies
