Sona Gold and Diamonds, erstwhile Sona Jewellers, was established in 1984 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was the vision of one of our partners, Mrs. Sona Mohan, who couldn’t find 22K jewelry in KSA, that led to the establishment of Sona Jewellers.

It was KV Mohanan, director of Sona Gold and Diamonds, who transformed her vision into a firm decision paving way for the manufacture of 22 carat jewelry that caters to the Asian community in Saudi Arabia while providing a whole new range of jewelry items. He masterminded the idea of retail jewelry at the time when only 21K and 18K gold was produced and imported, and this steered Sona Gold and Diamonds to the path of excellence.

Since starting the first gold factory in Riyadh, Sona Gold and Diamonds have seen success in leaps and bounds and the journey has been nothing short of exciting. And all through this journey we have been doing justice to our motto “Buying from Sona = Quality + Confidence + Service + Guarantee”.
