Taif hospital provides 157 priority cards to patients

January 28, 2019

TAIF — The “Patient Experience” service of King Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital in Taif has issued 157 priority cards in 2018, through which support services were provided to special needs people, senior citizens and home care patients, after ensuring that the health facility was ready to serve the beneficiaries.

This was achieved by creating necessary infrastructure with special entries and ramps, parking, toilets, elevators and waiting areas, in addition to helping them move around, complete the process of opening a hospital record, set appointments, and coordinate between beneficiaries and the physicians.

The program served a total of 5,809 patients, including 47 outpatients who were served by the “We Are All Responsible” initiative. Also, 2,500 people were served by the “You Have the Right” initiative, which targets patients and their bystanders at the health facilities when receiving services.

Moreover, 250 Ihsan (benevolence) cards were distributed to various departments, while the “Mashkoor” initiative honored three hospital employees and the “Awnak” initiative served 158 patients. — SG
