CEDA reviews 'Taiseer' report to Improve Private Sector Performance

RIYADH – The Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) met in Riyadh and reviewed a number of economic and developmental topics and made the necessary recommendations, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said on Tuesday night.

The deliberations of the meeting included a presentation by the committee for improving the performance of the business in the private sector and encouraging it to take part in the economic development initiative "Taiseer."

This included an assessment of the most critical challenges and opportunities facing the private sector in the Kingdom, the stages of achievement in addressing the challenges at the sector level as well as an analysis of the international indicators and the work plan of the Taiseer committee for the coming period.

The council discussed the presentation by the Ministry of Economy and Planning on the quarterly report of the national economy. It also reviewed the most important domestic and international economic developments and most prominent developments in performance indicators and future expectations. – SPA
