Poultry farms warned

February 10, 2019

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture issued several warnings against poultry farms that have become a source of pollution in Al-Jamoum and Umm Hableen areas of Makkah province. The farms lacked incinerators to safely dispose of waste, which started accumulating in their vicinity. The ministry said it would intensify inspections on poultry farms in the two areas to protect environmental health. — Okaz photo
