Alinma Bank launches Alinma Express and Western Union services for immediate transfers

March 05, 2019

AS part of its ongoing effort to maintain a competitive edge in the delivery the latest banking services, Alinma Bank recently launched its Alinma Express, Western Union, and Alinma Transfer services. The two former services give bank partners (customers) expanded convenience in making international transfers, while the latter service allows partners to activate new beneficiaries immediately, 24/7 via Alinma’s self-service channels.

Speaking about the launch of the new services, Alinma Bank CEO Abdulmohsen Al-Fares said that Alinma Bank continually strove to provide its partners with advanced services that meet their needs and expectations. He noted that Alinma Express would enable immediate transfers to international beneficiaries, with a cash delivery option in some countries; and that Western Union would give partners an additional transfer option via its extensive network of more than 550,000 branches in more than 200 countries.

Said Al-Fares: “At Alinma Bank, we seek to differentiate and improve the quality of remittance services provided to our partners, whether through our self-service channels — which include Alinma Internet and the Alinma smart device application — or through Alinma’s network of 161 branches across Saudi Arabia.”

Alinma’s self-service banking options include a range of electronic channels including the bank’s recently launched digital branch service, which gives partners access to a comprehensive array of products and services, in a convenient, 24/7, self-service branch environment. Alinma’s inaugural digital branch is located on Tahliyyah Street in Riyadh.
