JEDDAH — Ace Travel will sponsor the Ace Travel Saudi Cup League organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).

This is the 11th year that Ace Travel is sponsoring JCA cricketing activities and it was announced recently after a meeting between Ace Travel and JCA representatives.

Those present from Ace Travel were Ashfaq Ahmed (general manager, Saudi Arabia), Shamshad Khan (finance director) and Yaseen Al-Shareef (operations manager), while Abdulrehman Merchant and Haroon Abdullah Bin Mahfooz represented JCA.

Ashfaq Ahmed praised JCA’s organizing capability and contribution in developing and promoting cricket among the youth in Jeddah thereby instilling spirit of sportsmanship. He thanked JCA for giving Ace Travel an opportunity to sponsor JCA’s brand Saudi Cup for the 3rd year and assured them of its continued support as part of its corporate social responsibility to promote sports in general and cricket in particular. Ahmed recalled missing late Muhammed Iqbal both as head of JCA and as a close friend and hoped that the legacy he left behind will take JCA to new heights.

Merchant thanked Ace Travel management in general and Ashfaq Ahmed, Shamshad Khan and Yaseen Al-Shareef in particular for supporting JCA activities and hoped that this relationship would continue to prosper in future. JCA assured them of a successful championship.
