AL-ULA —
Five students were killed and two others injured when their school bus collided with a small car on the Mugheera road in the northern city of Al-Ula.

A large number of grievers reacted to the accident on social media, calling on the authorities to improve the condition of the Mugheera road, which the residents in the region nicknamed “The Death Road”.

The road witnesses heavy traffic regularly, but it increases further during school time.

The residents also complained about the lack of police presence on the road to control traffic during rush hours.

All five dead children, three of them siblings, were laid to rest in Al-Areeq cemetery Monday evening in the presence of large crowds of mourners.
