RIYADH — Boston Consulting Group (BCG) recently launched Jeel Tamooh in Saudi Arabia. The program aims to develop, motivate and inspire the most talented and distinguished university students in Saudi Arabia to achieve their full potential. This tailor-made initiative was introduced by BCG to enable top graduate students to expand their opportunities and aspirations.

“Jeel Tamooh is testament to our mission to support the positive development of societies we work in. This is a unique program dedicated to training young nationals and nurturing a generation of qualified young leaders who can deal with the challenges of the future and contribute to the Saudi government’s vision of sustainable development,” said Joerg Hildebrandt, senior partner and managing director at BCG Middle East.

“The students amazed me with their drive, and engagement throughout the launch event which focused on Winning the ‘20s. Together with our corporate partners we have lined up a full year of training and mentorship to continue their development, and we look forward to following their success.”

BCG’s two-day event brought insights from senior BCG thought leaders in addition to inspiring perspectives by Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Dawood, Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director & MD at Al Tayyar Travel Group; Omar Al-Busaidy, a Fulbright nominee, best-selling author and entrepreneur; and Nora Al-Okail, CEO of the Happiness Factory and the winner of young female entrepreneur of the King Salman Award; alongside a number of senior BCG members.

The Jeel Tamooh event was a reflection of the sentiments of Saudi Arabia’s youth. Attendees were thoroughly engaged throughout, participating in the varied topics of keynote sessions, panel discussions, and networking with senior representatives from the private sector. — SG
