JEDDAH —
The Danish mission in the Kingdom celebrated the birthday anniversary of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark at a prominent hotel in Jeddah recently.

The function was attended by Ambassador Jamal Balkhoyor, director general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Makkah Region branch, several dignitaries, diplomats, government officials, businessmen and Danish citizens living in the Kingdom.

Denmark’s Ambassador Ole Moesby welcomed the attendees and expressed his special thanks to the country’s honorary consul Sheikh Majed Al-Hokair for his efforts in developing Saudi-Danish ties.

Moesby then elaborated on topics of mutual interest for the two countries and their peoples.

Hokair stressed that the Saudi-Danish relations witnessed growth on cultural, commercial and political fronts. “We are working hard to develop this relationship especially in agriculture. We hope that this relationship will grow up with us. I believe we have many things to share,” Hokair said.
