THE Geberit Gulf Regional office unveiled the 2019 new products at the chic rooftop SoBe restaurant. W Hotel Palm Jumeirah. Alongside the excitement of the new products the invited guests were able to enjoy 360° vistas with a stunning sunset and after dusk the glittering lights of the Marina in the balmy evening breeze. Art deco colors flank street art, roaming entertainers snaking through the venue to the beats Miami South Beach vibes all added to the success of the evening.

The Geberit actuator plate Sigma50 has been refined

Geometric clarity combined with aesthetic curves: The further development of the popular Geberit actuator plate Sigma50 sees a new elegance enter the bathroom. The elegantly stripped-down design and the high-quality materials blend in perfectly in clear, modern bathrooms.

Geberit Sigma50 – Slim actuator buttons that are convexly curved outwards give the Sigma50 an elegant, high-quality look.

The two ergonomic buttons for activating the dual flush remain characteristic features of the Geberit actuator plate Sigma50. Minor adjustments to the dimensioning of these raised, curved buttons lead to light reflections that give the Sigma50 an even lighter appearance.

“The actuator plate itself is frameless and available in different colors and materials, the latter ranging from glass, plastic and metal right through to slate. The actuator plate can be optionally equipped with the Geberit DuoFresh module for extracting odours” says Gabriel Nasser, Managing Director Rep. Gulf Office.

Other functions to choose from include a night-time orientation light and an insert for in-cistern sticks.

The redesigned Geberit bathroom series Smyle has an even more delicate and modern look. The design of the washbasins and furniture is coordinated in such a way that individual combinations are possible. The medium cabinets can be combined in different ways depending on the customer’s requirements. Thanks to the option of open or closed storage space, these cabinets offer a great deal of creative freedom in line with the customer’s personal preference and bathroom size.

The Geberit Smyle bathroom series features high-quality materials, coated surfaces and modular elements. These have all helped Geberit create new highlights in the bathroom.

Geberit has radically revamped the Smyle bathroom series. The most striking change is the new design of the furniture, which was adapted to the form of the ceramic sanitary appliances as part of the facelift. The handles now mirror the contour of the washbasins in terms of their ornate lines and continue their design language. This manifests itself in the rounded edges on the simple yet modernly designed profile handles, which have the same colour as the furniture. The ceramic sanitary appliances from the Geberit Smyle bathroom series have a very lightweight appearance. Ornate lines, harmonious shapes and narrow rims on the washbasins contrast with the functional inner basins and the generous shelf surfaces at the rear of the washbasin.

“The slightly rounded edges on the handles – which represent a seamless transition from the washbasin to the cabinet – are new,” said Gabriel Nassar from Geberit. “The handles form a unified whole with the narrow rims on the ceramic sanitary appliances. Creative freedom was particularly important to us, and we achieved this by offering diverse combination possibilities.” — SG
