HAIL – Emir of Hail Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saad Bin Abdulaziz is scheduled to patronize on Monday the launching of the deliberations of Hail Forum for Care and Rehabilitation 2019, which is being organized by the Charitable Society for Care of the Disabled in Hail, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development.
This is with the participation of some 300 men and women at the University Hotel. Over 15 experts and specialists from within the Kingdom and abroad are set to speak at the forum. They will also discuss various subjects related to care and rehabilitation.
On his behalf and on behalf of the board members and beneficiaries, Khaled Al-Ali Al-Saif, chairman of the board of directors of the society and chairman of the first international forum, expressed thanks and appreciation to Prince Abdulaziz and his deputy Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Bin Muqrin for the continuous attention and support the society and its beneficiaries receive from them.
He thanked the Ministry of Labor and Social Development and the ministry’s branch in the region for their follow up and encouragement for the development programs in the region.
Al-Saif said: “This is the first forum of its kind in the province. It aims to raise the society’s level of awareness on care and rehabilitation issues, professional training for workers in the field, getting acquainted with the latest experiences and practices, creating opportunities for direct interaction with workers in the field, families, experts and specialists.”
The forum’s goals include raising the level of social awareness on issues like care, rehabilitation and professional development for workers in the field; to get acquainted with the diagnosis and training methods and practices; creating opportunities for direct interaction between workers, families, and specialists in the field, he added.
Al-Saif further said: “The Emir of Hail has approved the themes of the forum to be launched on Monday. They will cover programs of diagnosis, rehabilitation, care, empowerment, assimilation of disabled persons into society and programs for the care of senior citizens, and in support services in the care and rehabilitation sector.”
The supervisor of the forum and an expert in care and rehabilitation, Fahd Al-Qabba’, said the categories targeted include workers in the care and rehabilitation field; educating individuals with disability, old persons, workers in early childhood fields, family members, male and female university students, as well as supporters and those concerned with the care and rehabilitation sector.
Al-Qabba’ added that the forum’s general website has closed with the registration of 300 male and female beneficiaries from various institutions for care of rehabilitation in Hail Province and the Kingdom, and from the ministries, government and private sectors and nonprofit organizations.
