RIYADH — Engr. Ammar Alkadi claimed second place in the first round of the Daytona championship which was organized by Ferrari Club at Magione Circuit in Italy.

Alkadi outsmarted experienced drivers and took second place after a fierce competition for the first place with Scibetta.

Ferrari President Vincenzo Gibiino congratulated Alkadi and said he is one of the club’s most prominent members and he participates permanently in the races organized by Ferrari.

Alkadi expressed his happiness over his achievement against experienced racers and said that he will seek to achieve the title of this championship.

He also explained that the competition was fun and very close where the title was not resolved until the final meters of the race. — SG
