May 15, 2019

RIYADH — The Secretariat General of the Council of Senior Scholars has strongly condemned the terrorist attack using rigged drones on two pumping stations for an oil pipeline belonging to Saudi Aramco, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the Council as stating on Tuesday night.

In its statement the Council said: “God willing, the Kingdom will continue to be the hand that uproots terrorism whatever its group or those supporting it. These terrorist acts will only increase the resolve and determination of the Kingdom — leadership and people who with all strength and cohesion stand behind their leadership — to confront terror, whether it is terror by Daesh or Houthis backed by Iran. This is irrespective of the names of terrorist groups or organizations.”

The Council of Senior Scholars prayed to Allah Almighty to protect the Kingdom, its leadership and people as well as the whole world from the scourge of terrorism, those propagating it and its organizations.

Meanwhile, the Muslim World League (MWL) too strongly condemned the drone terrorist attacks. The MWL said such criminal acts reflect the depth of hatred and evil terrorist organizations harbor against the Kingdom. — SPA
