RIYADH — There were 55,462 male and female workers in government and private sectors in the Kingdom aged between 15 and 19 years, Al-Watan newspaper reported on Wednesday quoting a report by the General Authority for Statistics (GaStat) for the year 2018.
The report said workers consisted of 54,505 Saudis and 957 expatriates. It added that among the Saudis there were 43,258 men and 11,248 women.
It said the number of workers in these age groups did not include citizens working in military or security sectors nor those who were not registered with the General Organization for Social Security (GOSI) nor the Ministry of Civil Service.
According to GaStat, there were 10,085,876 workers in the Kingdom in addition to 2,454,742 house helps.
