Jeddah Season: Art Jameel to host 45 workshops

JEDDAH —
The Jameel House of Traditional Arts in Jeddah is a center for artisanship, architectural discourse, and heritage preservation. It was established in 2015 by Art Jameel, with a one year craft and design program designed and delivered by the Prince's Foundation School of Traditional Arts, in partnership with the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts.

Various workshops in partnership with the school of traditional art includes geometry, ceramic, introduction to gybson carvings and Nabati design, thus introducing families and children, first-timers and experienced artists to the traditional arts and rich heritage of Jeddah’s historic district — Al-Balad.

During the ongoing Jeddah Season, around 45 workshops have been planned at the Jameel House of Traditional Arts located in Historic Jeddah daily from 5 to 11 P.M.
