KSrelief delivers 350 tons of dates to WFP in Algeria

ALGIERS — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered on Thursday 350 tons of dates to the World Food Program (WFP) in Algeria in the presence of Saudi Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Omairini, Director of WFP Office in Algeria Romain Sirois, and a number of officials.

This shipment was part of Saudi Arabia's contribution to the WFP, which will be responsible for its distribution in Algeria.

Also on Thursday, the center delivered 80 tons of dates to officials in N'Djamena as the Kingdom's gift to the Republic of Chad. The handover ceremony was attended by Chadian Minister for Women, Protection of Early Childhood and Solidarity Djalal Ardjoun Khalil, Saudi Ambassador to Chad Jameel Shasha and a number of officials.

The gift comes within the framework of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian role to support people and countries around the world. — SPA
