JEDDAH — Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, left on Tuesday for South Korea on an official visit in response to an invitation from Korean President Moon Jae-in.

This was in line with the directive of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, emanating from the Monarch’s keenness to have interactions and bolster the Kingdom’s relations with friendly nations in all realms, the Royal Court said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.

During the visit, the Crown Prince will meet President Moon and a number of other high-ranking Korean officials, to discuss bilateral relations and review issues of common interest.

The Crown Prince will then lead the Kingdom’s delegation to the G20 Summit, to be held in Osaka, Japan on June 28 and 29. — SG/SPA
