JEDDAH — Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia Raja Ali Ejaz called on Makkah Emir Prince Khaled Al-Faisal at the governorate in Jeddah.
They discussed matters of mutual interest.
The emir congratulated Ejaz on his assignment in the Kingdom and hoped that he would be able to further strengthen the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and extend the relations to new dimensions.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings and felicitations from the government and people of Pakistan to the emir.
He recounted the long-standing and exceptional strategic relations between the Kingdom and Pakistan.
Ejaz also appreciated the support of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan in times of need.
The Makkah emir praised the Pakistanis for their religious and emotional attachment to the Kingdom.
Arshad Munir, consul (press) at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah, further stated that the ambassador lauded the facilities provided by the Saudi government to the pilgrims. "The people of Makkah host such a huge number of Muslims with open hearts, which is a true representation of the unity of the Muslim Ummah," he added.
