Saudi Gazette report

JEDDAH —
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) is participating in the Makkah Road initiative for the 1440 Haj season, by facilitating all of the Guests of Al Rahman Procedures and by reducing their processing time. The countries that are included in the initiative are Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Tunisia.

GACA’s role in this intuitive includes: allocating halls for the reception of pilgrims arriving from their points of origin and receiving them in each of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, scheduling flights for the initiative and work on the distribution of flight times throughout the duration of the initiative.

It is worth noting that the initiative aims to facilitate the pilgrim flights and benefit more than 225,000 pilgrims during the 1440 Haj season. It also reflects the great attention given to the pilgrims by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.

Furthermore, it shows keenness to improve the service quality through this initiative, which was launched by the leadership as part of the Kingdom’s vision 2030 programs.
