RIYADH – The total tonnage cargo handled in Saudi ports in June 2019 was over 21 million tons. The number of containers handled reached 557,000, with an increase of 5.30%, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, Saudi Press Agency quoted the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) as disclosing on Monday.

The number of vessels in the Saudi ports last month was 1,004 vessels, the number of passengers totaled 143,000, while the number of vehicles reached 55,000, and the number of livestock 434,000 heads, Mawani added. – SPA
