JAZAN —
A Saudi scholarship student has disappeared after a visit with his family to the New Jersey waterfalls in the US on Sunday, his family has announced.

Isa Attiah Addawi said his missing brother, Qasim, spoke to him on telephone early morning on the day of his disappearance and told him that he was on a picnic with his wife and three kids at the New Jersey waterfalls.

He said few minutes after that he received another call from Qasim's brother-in-law telling that his brother has disappeared and that he had informed the police.

Addawi said Qasim was pursuing his Ph.D degree in business administration.

Isa Attiah said his brother's wife informed him that Qasim took her and his two boys Abdullah and Mohammed and his daughter Arjuan on a picnic to the waterfalls after they came from the Kingdom to stay with him in the US.

She said at the end of the picnic they all got into the car to leave the place and drive home but her husband got out of the car and told them that he would take the last picture of the beautiful place.

"We waited in the car for a long time but my husband never returned. An eyewitness told me that he had seen a body falling into the waterfalls. He even showed me a picture of the fall," she said.

The wife said a friend of her missing husband took them back home and added that some of her brothers arrived in the US to stand beside her in her hour of distress.
