RIYADH —
Egyptian community in the Kingdom, as elsewhere in the world, is celebrating the 67th anniversary of the 1952 revolution that heralded the end of monarchy reign in Egypt and the establishment of a republic state.

In this connection, Egypt’s Ambassador to Riyadh Nasser Hamdy received Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulrahman Bin Abdul Aziz, deputy emir of Riyadh Region, at his residence in Riyadh, on Monday.

Speaking to Saudi Gazette, Hamdy confirmed the strong and historical bilateral Egyptian-Saudi relations and said: “Today, we are celebrating the anniversary of 23rd July 1952 revolution that sketched a new history for Egypt. Its march is still going on and its track was corrected by 30th June 2013 revolution that restored dignity of Egyptian citizens and the country’s status among other countries with the leadership and wise policies of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the government that works hard for Egypt’s renaissance.

“It is positively reflected on Egyptian-Saudi relations. We are at the best status of relations with mutual visits between Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman and President El-Sisi mirroring the value of the two countries,” Hamdy said

Hamdy praised the brotherly relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, which enjoy continuous prosperity under the leadership of President El-Sisi, and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Diplomats and ambassadors of Arab, Islamic and foreign countries, many prominent Saudi figures, Egyptian community and media representatives attended the ceremony.
