JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia's Prince Bandar Bin Abdulaziz, has died on Sunday, the Royal Court announced in a statement.

Funeral prayer will be offered after Isha prayer at the Grand Mosque in Makkah on Monday, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The 95-year-old senior member of the royal family had been ill for several years.

Prince Bandar is a brother of King Salman and father of Prince Faisal, Riyadh governor, and Prince Abdullah, National Guard minister.

Born in 1923, the prince did not assume any position in the country upon his request. — SG
