Zamzam Association donates 300 wheelchairs to hospitals

MAKKAH — As part of the social partnership initiative between Zamzam Charity Association for Medical Voluntary Services and the Directorate of Health Affairs in Makkah, 300 wheelchairs were provided to both Mina Emergency Hospital and Arafat Hospital. The partnership comes as part of the various initiatives and efforts of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to serve the Guests of Allah.

In coordination with the Department of Community Programs at the Health Affairs branch of the holy city, Zamzam Vice President Dr. Abdullah Al-Matrafi, accompanied by the director of the Central Region branch, the director of field programs and public relations of the Health Affairs in Makkah, visited Mina Emergency Hospital and handed over 300 wheelchairs to the concerned department in the presence of officials of Mina and Arafat hospitals.

Al-Matrafi pointed out that this number of chairs is part of the Zamzam Society's contributions with Health Affairs in Makkah. “This initiative which comes as part of our services provided to the holy site hospitals is aimed to serve pilgrims who are in need of chairs to move around Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat,” he said.
