Nazaha, UNDP to enhance anti-corruption cooperation

RIYADH —
Mazen Al-Kahmous, president of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha), received Dr. Adam Bouloukos, resident representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Saudi Arabia, and his accompanying delegation at his office in Riyadh on Thursday.

During the meeting, they reviewed efforts exerted by both sides and ways of enhancing and developing cooperation in the field of combating corruption. Al-Kahmous signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bouloukos within the framework of the implementation of the National Strategy for the Protection of Integrity and Anti-Corruption.

This was aimed at contributing to the efforts to promote, develop and strengthen regional, Arab and international cooperation in the field of integrity protection and anti-corruption.

The MoU aims to provide a framework for cooperation between UNDP and Nazaha to establish strategic partnership in the area of combating corruption and extending support to relevant initiatives, programs, projects and activities within their jurisdiction.

Abdul Mohsen Al-Muneef, deputy president of Nazaha, and Dr. Bandar Aba Al-Khail, deputy president for the protection of Nazaha, also attended the meeting and the signing ceremony.
