RIYADH —Sidanah International Medical Company showed a distinguishable presence of Saudi industries in medical field during the World Health Forum 2019 in its second edition, held last Sept. 10-12 at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, under the patronage of Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan who visited the pavilion and listened to an explanation from the company's CEO Nidhal Al-Attas about the factory's products and future goals.

The pavilion of Sidanah International Medical Company, in which the inauguration of this upcoming national company with high ambitions was announced, had been the focus of attention during the exhibition accompanying the forum, for being one of the bearers of the banner of future Saudi medical industries after the private sector responding and benefiting from the initiatives of the Kingdom Vision 2030. However, because of the vital and influential role of medical industries in the strategic security of any country, the Vision paid a large part of its attention to all aspects of health, including the manufacturing side taken by Sidanah International Medical Company in its great launch with great ambitions.

"The company's presence in this global forum, which brought together major international companies operating in the field of medical industry in all its specialties, is a positive opportunity which we were keen to exploit to announce our company that we are working to be an influential component not only on the local level but also on the regional level after we have spent years of preparation and meeting all the requirements that ensure the delivery of high quality medical product according to the best international standards in this regard." Said Mr. Nidhal Al-Attas, CEO of Sidanah International Medical Industries, commenting on this participation.

Regarding the products provided by the company, Al-Attas said: "At the current stage, which is the first stage of our production, we have begun to manufacture disposable/non-reusable medical instruments such as blood transfusion and dialysis equipment and pursuing, in the coming years, a growth strategy that enable to reach the production of most medically consumed materials. However, we are proud that we are training national cadres, mostly women, who accurately carry out manual works in our factories".

He pointed out that Sidanah signed during the forum several cooperation and partnership agreements with a number of health authorities and companies. — SG
