RIYADH —Col. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman of the Coalition to support the legitimacy in Yemen, refuted the allegations of Houthi militias, who came out with a play in which they raised misleading claims targeting Saudi forces.

“We do not respond to the media of Houthi militias and its misleading of international and regional public opinion,” he said in a press conference in Riyadh on Monday.

Al-Maliki accused the Iran-backed Houthi militias of not adhering to the Stockholm agreement with continuing threatening of international peace. He stressed that the political solution in Yemen would begin with the acceptance of the UN Resolution 2216 by Houthis.

Al-Maliki explained that the coup militias fired ballistic missiles from Amran, Sanaa and Saada. “All the relief outlets inside Yemen, whether land, air or sea, are working with all their capabilities,” he said while pointing out that the Coalition countries continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Yemenis.

Al-Maliki said the Coalition forces have foiled a Houthi attempt of using human wave attack tactics against the Yemeni National Army units.
