LUMI Rental, Lahore Badshah, Nokia Lions, Faisalabad Kings in semifinal

KHAMIS MUSHAYT:
In the 9th Aseer Cricket League (ACL) T20 Cricket Championship played on ACL grounds here, LUMI Rental, Lahore Badshah, Nokia Lions, Faisalabad Kings reached the semifinal.

The first semifinal will be played between LUMI Rental CC and Lahore Badshah. The second will be between Nokia Lions CC and Faisalabad Kings

Earlier in the match between Khyber Zmaray and Faisalabad Kings, the Kings put up a competitive total of 183 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. To which Khyber Zmaray gave a fighting reply but fell short by 20 runs finishing at 163 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Mudassir Ali of Faisalabad Kings was declared man of the match.

The second quarterfinal was between Youngstar and Lahore Badshah. Youngstar scored 153 runs for the loss of 8 wickets and Lahore Badshah chased down the total in just 13.4 overs scoring 156 for the loss of 2 wickets. Taiyyab Muhammad was declared man of the match.

Un the match between Nokia Lions CC and Faisalabad Royals, the Lions, on batting first, put up a huge total of 209 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. In reply, Faisalabad Royals too kept pace with some power hitting but fell short of 19 runs as the experienced bowling of Nokia held them back. They totaled 190 for the loss of 7 wickets. Muhammad Zain was declared man of the match.

In the tie between SMSA Sports Club and LUMI Rental CC, SMSA Sports Club put up 159 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. LUMI Rental CC were challenged fully by SMSA Sports Club bowling attack but LUMI held on to win with 1 wicket and a couple of balls to spare. Lumi Rental CC scored 160 for the loss of 9 wickets. Tahir Rasheed was declared man of the match.
