RIYADH —
Under the patronage of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, the Saudi Royal Navy is to organize the Saudi International Maritime Patrol Ships Forum, from Nov. 24 to 26 in Riyadh, Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.

The Royal Saudi Navy has signed an agreement to organize the forum and launch the initial preparations for it, in the presence of the Chairman of the Saudi International Maritime Forum Committee, Brig. Gen. Faisal Bin Muhammad Al-Ghamaisi and the Director General of the Organizing Company (Star Time) Shaya Al-Qahtani.

The forum, titled: Importance of Securing Strategic Seaways, presents six main themes that discuss all aspects related to the importance of securing strategic sea lanes.
