RIYADH —
The Ministry of Education has asked all schools across the Kingdom not to impede entry of ambulance cars into their premises to transport emergency cases whenever needed for any reason.

Deputy Minister Abdul Rahman Al-Asmi in a circular asked all the leaders of the boy and girl schools to facilitate entry of ambulance cars to perform their duties in handling emergency cases.

He asked them to immediately call the nearest health center or the Saudi Red Crescent Authority whenever an emergency situation arises in the school.

Asmi stressed the importance of immediate intervention of ambulance service to deal with the emergency cases in the schools.

"Time is a crucial factor in saving the lives of the students. Therefore the entry of the ambulance cars into the school premises should not be delayed for any reason," he said.
