JEDDAH — Directives have been issued by higher authorities nullifying the paragraph allowing the government authorities to sign contracts with experts in return for a lumpsome allowance.
During the coming period, the contracts to be signed with experts will be subject to the rules of the social insurance regulation.
According to the new amendments, the work contracts for experts and the contracts for those carrying out the functions of undersecretaries and assistant undersecretaries will now be subject to the rules of the social insurance regulations.
In other words, the government authorities will no longer be able to sign contracts with experts and undersecretaries of ministries allowing the latter to receive lumpsome or fixed allowances in the contract, the way they used to do before.
