Technology, Huawei honor 2nd batch of graduates in enrichment programs

DHAHRAN — Under the patronages of Eng. Yousef Al-Ulyan, Vice President of Saudi Aramco Information Technology and Chairman of the National Information Technology (NIT) Academy and Dennis Dongliang, CEO of Huawei In Saudi Arabia, the NIT Academy and Huawei celebrated the graduation of the second batch of the trainees who finished the six-month enrichment programs in the disciplines of servers and networking, where graduates received a number of internationally accredited certificates, and attended the ceremony members of the Board of Trustees of the Academy, members of the management of Saudi Aramco, and a staff of management Huawei executive and guests from the government sector and academic bodies. Alumni employment contracts were signed during the ceremony to join Huawei’s team.

During the graduation ceremony, Engineer Yusuf Al-Ulyan and Denis Dungeliang distributed the certificates to the graduates, and then sponsored the signing ceremony of employment contracts. At the end of the ceremony, the commemorative photo was taken with the patrons of the ceremony, the members of the board of directors and the dignitaries.

The NIT Academy is a non-profit organization founded by four entities (Saudi Aramco, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and the Communications and Information Technology Commission).

The Academy is designed to be the leading training academy for ICT specialties, and to provide on-demand training that fills the skills gap between academic study and the sector by providing a highly motivated, highly skilled and work-ready Saudi workforce. These efforts are in line with The Kingdom's Vision 2030 to support digital transformation and reduce unemployment.

Among its four programs, the Academy's enrichment path is one of the best in the world, an intensive program designed for university graduates to specialize in emerging technology and high-demand areas, such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, business intelligence, corporate mobility and planning company resources. _ SG
