RIYADH — Najm for Insurance Services, the Saudi traffic insurance entity, signed cooperation agreement with the Emirati traffic control company Saaed on Sunday (Nov. 17) at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Riyadh, in the presence of Najm’s Chairman Dr. Mohammad Al Suliman and Saaed’s Chairman Eng. Ibrahim Yousef Ramel and a number of media personalities.

The agreement aims to enhance the quality of life by improving accident management procedures and their accompanying insurance services, in addition to augmenting the exchange of knowledge and skills between the two entities in various service areas, developing strategic plans, pursuing investment opportunities, building effective partnerships, and establishing joint research and development efforts in both countries.

Najm for Insurance Services is a pioneering entity within the vehicle insurance industry which has contributed toward raising the quality of traffic offerings and facilitating customer access to them by adopting automation and guaranteeing transparency throughout its services.

On this occasion, Dr. Mohammad Al Suliman said this agreement forms a starting point for fruitful cooperation between the two nations in the traffic systems sector. He added that Saeed’s work complements Najm’s, where Najm is specialized in vehicle insurance services while Saeed possesses a solid expertise in accident management, which forms an opportunity to achieve beneficial knowledge exchange and result in a successful liaison that adds value to the insurance sector of the two nations.

Eng. Ibrahim Ramel expressed his delight with the signing of this agreement which reiterates the significance of integration to ensure customer satisfaction, enhance the position of both entities, and raise their contribution toward achieving an improved quality of life in Saudi Arabia and the UAE through the traffic systems sector. Najm for Insurance services is a national Saudi company established in 2007 as a result of cooperation between the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority and the General Authority of Traffic and aims to facilitate road traffic activity and support the vehicle insurance industry in the Kingdom.

Saaed is an Emirati national company launched under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed in 2018. It offers innovative solutions throughout various traffic areas including traffic services, parking systems, inspections, and smart systems. — SG
