WASHINGTON – The Saudi Ambassador to the US Princess Reema Bint Bandar Bin Sultan recently honored the outgoing Cultural Attaché at the Saudi Embassy Dr. Muhammad Al-Issa.
Dr. Issa’s tenure here for about 12 years recently ended, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.
During a ceremony at the Saudi Embassy here on Thursday, Al-Issa valued this good initiative, which reaffirms the path taken by the prudent leadership in shedding light on the national cadres and the keenness to focus attention on their service to the nation in all fields.
As Cultural Attaché Dr. Al-Issa witnessed the beginning of implementation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Foreign Scholarships Program and contributed to making it a success.
The number of Saudi scholarship students who graduated from the US have exceeded 500,000 during a period of 12 years since the beginning of the program in 2006.
The Cultural Attaché Office in the US has contributed to caring for scholarship students’ affairs and supporting student activities in spreading Saudi culture in the American society.
