Ongoing SEA Expo discusses opportunities and challenges in the rapidly growing entertainment market

RIYADH — The second Saudi Entertainment and Amusement (SEA) expo, a trade event dedicated to Saudi Arabia’s budding entertainment and leisure sector, was inaugurated on Monday by Majed Abdel Mohsen AL Hokair – the member of board of directors for Riyadh Chamber & chairman of the board of directors for RICEC and third president for the tourism committee, Riyadh Chamber. Thousands of industry professionals attended the first day at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center. The trade show is significant for both exhibitors and visitors — to source new products, meet new supplier, discover latest products and trends and network with industry peers.

With the Kingdom’s plan in developing the entertainment industry, as part of Vision 2030, the 3-day event offers regional and international suppliers an unparalleled platform to display their products from rides for amusement parks, adventure sports equipment, security equipment, stage and lighting equipment to entertainment technology including virtual reality, augmented reality, cinema to leading industry stakeholders including government authorities, owners, developers, investors and operators of malls, cinemas, theme parks, restaurants, family entertainment centers and other entertainment, leisure and tourist attractions.

The Kingdom is transforming and the entertainment and leisure revolution is beginning to gather pace. Saudi Entertainment and Amusement (SEA) exhibition offers exhibitors and participants unique access to buyers as well as assist in establishing contacts and building relationships that will be key for the fast-paced development phase of the country’s entertainment and leisure sector.
