Latest traffic safety smart systems and solutions showcased at Forum

RIYADH — Najm for Insurance Services liaises with the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) and the General Authority for Traffic to launch awareness campaigns that largely contribute toward informing motorists and drivers on safe road practices, CEO at Najm Dr. Mohammad Al Suliman underscored at the 5th International Traffic Safety Forum and Exhibition that finished yesterday (Feb. 12).

He outlined the importance of participating in this forum in order for Najm to disseminate the other safety awareness initiatives they have, including the “For Safer Roads” and “Don’t Stop Their Life” campaigns that have contributed toward guiding and educating vehicle owners on responsible driving habits as well as motivating them to abide by safe road practices.

Dr. Al Suliman also reiterated Najm’s successes in augmenting the quality of its services and promoting its position as a pioneering Saudi insurance company through achieving remarkable operational performance. He underlined the importance of insurance services in improving the quality of life, supporting the national economy, and achieving the digital government transformation targets outlined in the Saudi Vision 2030.

The forum also enabled the participants to learn about noteworthy initiatives and transportation projects launched under Saudi Arabia’s national transformation plan for 2020.

Visitors at the three-day international exhibition learned about the latest smart systems and applications on traffic safety from the international companies that have showcased their latest innovations, products, and solutions in the transportation sector.

Najm was the official insurance partner at the Forum held under the patronage of Saud Bin Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of the Eastern Region. It was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Dammam.

The event was organized by the Saudi Society for Traffic Safety (SALAMAH) in cooperation with the Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, the Ministry of Education, Saudi Aramco, the Eastern Province Traffic Safety Council, the National Road Safety Center, and the Secretary General of the Ministerial Committee for Traffic Safety.

The forum was aimed at raising the level of traffic safety through further strengthening cooperation between all relevant entities to reduce road traffic accident casualties and injuries. — SG
