Saudi Gazette report

MAKKAH —
Maj. Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, spokesman of Makkah region police, said that there is no truth in social media reports about discovery of a coronavirus case in Jeddah governorate. The rumors revolving around a Chinese woman are baseless and a quarrel between two Chinese nationals were misrepresented, the Saudi Press Agency quoted the spokesman as saying.

Al-Ghamdi said the security patrol teams late Tuesday received information about a quarrel between a Chinese man and woman following a dispute in a commercial shop. The Chinese man, who sustained injuries in the fight, was taken to hospital to receive treatment, and necessary measures were taken in connection with the incident, the spokesman said.
