KUWAIT CITY — Kuwait registered seven new cases of the novel coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the total number of infections to 130, Kuwait News Agency reported citing a statement from Ministry of Health.

The new cases were of Kuwaitis, who recently visited the United Kingdom, the health ministry’s spokesman Abdullah Al-Sanad was quoted as saying during a daily press briefing.

According to the report, the spokesman said that a total of 118 cases are currently receiving treatment in the country.

Kuwaiti authorities earlier said 12 people infected with the virus had recovered.
