RIYADH -- The President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Abdulhadi Al-Mansouri, on Monday thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for their interest in facilitating the repatriation of citizens abroad who wish to return to the Kingdom.

Al-Mansouri appreciated the leadership's keenness to protect the sons and daughters and the citizens of the Kingdom. He affirmed the integration of GACA with other government efforts to facilitate the repatriation of citizens abroad who wish to return to the Kingdom.

Al-Mansouri stated that GACA has made full use of its efforts and capabilities to receive citizens wishing to return to the Kingdom, where the authority prepared the travel terminals at the Kingdom's international airports, in each of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. Furthermore, GACA is scheduling flights designated for the plan to repatriate citizens who wish to return to the Kingdom, in coordination with the national carrier, Saudi Arabian Airlines, and the continuous coordination with airports of other countries.

Al-Mansouri indicated that GACA focused its procedures on taking all precautionary and preventive measures in combating the coronavirus, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. Meanwhile, GACA is preparing departure and arrival points, aircraft crew and airports to ensure the application of all the precautionary measures in this regard.
