4 Saudis arrested for defying curfew orders

RIYADH –
Four Saudis were arrested for defying curfew orders in Riyadh and Hail, according to police sources.

Col. Shaker Al-Tuwaijri, spokesman of police in Riyadh region, said that three citizens, who had gone out at the time of the curfew and bragged of violating the restrictions, were arrested in Riyadh.

He said security forces apprehended these people for violating the ban, and documented their violation before publishing it on social media.

Maj. Sami Al-Shammari, spokesman of police in Hail, said a citizen was arrested in Hail for violating prohibitory orders and mocking security men while they were in the field to carry out their tasks in enforcing curfew orders.

Legal procedures have been taken against the arrested people in order to refer them to the Public Prosecution.
