Interior Ministry updates movement permit forms during curfew

RIYADH — After reviewing and defining the number of people exempted during curfew and allowed to move during the curfew order, an official source at the Ministry of Interior stated that the ministry has initiated updates to forms of movement permits during the curfew.

The source added that every governmental entity is required to issue necessary permits for its personnel while the competent authority in the Interior Ministry would stamp these permits.

The source said that every governmental entity is required to issue permits for the personnel of the private sector who are under its supervision.

With regard to the personnel, who are moving by buses, a driver is allowed to have a permit, which includes the specified number of passengers, not to exceed (50%) of the passenger load, number of the plate, route of movement, working days and times in addition to adhering to the necessary health requirements for the passengers.

The source added that Riyadh city would be the first city in which these new measures would be applied. These new measures start from Monday (April 13, 20/8/1441H). The source stressed that any violator would be fined SR10,000 in addition to other legal procedures. — SPA
