ARSAL — Al-Amal Medical Center in Arsal, Lebanon, with the support of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), has been providing medical services as part of a project to strengthen health services for Syrian refugees and the host community here.

During the month of April, clinics provided 5,258 free medical services to 2,963 patients, following the necessary procedures and precautions in light of the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) to provide services to patients in a safe medical environment.

The Medical Director of the project Dr. Manar Maqsoud said that Al-Amal Medical Center aims to serve more than 45,000 patients, and provide them with health care services in the areas of health, psychological, social and nutritional support.

The center, in addition, has a 24-hour emergency department, with an integrated pharmacy providing medicines free of charge to all patients.

A number of refugee and beneficiaries expressed their deep thanks and gratitude for the various services that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Center, provides to them under these circumstances. — SPA
